On this weeks broadcast...

Last time on Aurors Investigate we hinted and teased at a big project! Who is Auror X and what secrets do they have to tell? Well this might just be your chance to find out. So grab a cuppa and sit back to enjoy the show.

And so our biggest project of all time begins to draw to a conclusion. We ought to apologise for leaving you all in such suspense last time but I’m afraid that just won’t happen. We do after all try so very hard to be honest, and well, we enjoyed leaving you all wanting last time.

But we are here today to enlighten you all, and bring you into the heart of our project. Auror X’s tell all looms ever closer and well we have finally decided it is time to reveal their identity to you.

But first we must ask for your discretion and secrecy in such matters, after all Auror X, is indeed an Auror and an active one at that. The last thing this program wants to do is cause harm and so we trust you will all join us in swearing vows of secrecy in this most confidential matter.

Now before we reveal this secret, let us bring you back to the meeting that occurred between Auror X and a former employee, known as Jonathan.

These notes were made and given to us prior to Jonathan’s abrupt departure and it has therefore been determined that these notes belong to us here at Auror’s Investigate. They have now been published for our viewers/listeners/readers pleasure.

~ Begin Flashback. ~

Jonathan - “Auror X, how wonderful to see you again!”
Auror X - “Hello Jonathan, indeed how lovely to see you again. And how punctual you are.”
Jonathan - “What can I say, old habits die hard. ”
Auror X - “What an interesting thing to say, and here I am thinking I was the only one with a militant lifestyle.”
Jonathan - “ Ah well you know, Pa is an Auror so I suppose something rubbed off.”
Auror X nods sagely.
Auror X - “I suppose that would explain it then.”
Jonathan - “Indeed, now if you don’t mind I would rather like to jump into it.”
Auror X - “Yes okay, I suppose there is little point in dallying around. Well what exactly would you like to know?”
Jonathan - “Everything I suppose, though really our mission is to discover what it is Auror’s really do. So perhaps if you described a day in your life?”
Auror X frowns slightly as Jonathan says “we”.
Auror X - “We… huh, I thought this was a personal interest project. Something you aren’t telling me here Jonathan.”
Jonathan flushes, embarrassed at his rookie slip of the tongue.
Jonathan - “Oh no, not at all. I was simply referring to my editor as well. She’s rather insistent on being included in all things you see. I really did not mean more by it.”
Jonathan rambles, trying to fix a mistake before the cracks can form.
Auror X’s frown only deepens, she clearly doesn’t buy the story.
Auror X - “Rightt.. Well you know, I actually have a meeting soon. So perhaps it’s best if we reconvene another time.”
Auror X glances at their watches, body language clearly hostile.
Jonathan - “oh.. Uh.. right, yes. Um well, okay I don’t want to keep you.”
Jonathan stuttered quickly packing his things.

Now dearest readers, we here at Aurors Investigate we assume you are as astute, as you are wise and will have by now figured out that this tell-all piece is perhaps much larger and groundbreaking then first thought. In fact, we would even go so far as to speculate that these notes of Jonathan’s were mere fabrications designed to throw us off the scent.

But like all good media outlets, we know that you can never rely on just one source. In fact while Jonathan was conducting his secret meetings someone else was there, watching and waiting. And it is all thanks to them that we can reveal the identity of our Auror X, the one and only; Sara Fortaine.

Who is in fact rumoured to be the partner of Head Auror Nina Hayes.
