Butterbeer Cookies Recipe

Welcome back to Althea's Cooking Corner! As you know, Althea is my name and I am a 13 year old Slytherin student, and a member of the amazing SoMe team! I hope you have fun reading my blog post! :D

These are the ingredients you'll need:
1 cup of butter, preferably unsalted
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 package of 3-ounce butterscotch instant pudding mix
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of regular salt
1 cup of white chocolate chips
1 cup of butterscotch chips

And here's how you make the cookies!

1. Heat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C) and place a baking mat on an oven tray
2. Put the butter in a large bowl and mix until it's creamy (make sure the butter is room-temperature)
3. Add the sugar in the large bowl and mix it togheter with the butter
4. Add in the eggs and the butterscotch pudding mix and mix it all togheter
5. In another large bowl, mix togheter the flour, salt and baking soda. Before mixing it togheter with the other bowl's content
6. Pour in the chocolate and butterscotch chips and carefully mix it in
7. If you don't have a cookie scoop, take up a small ball of the cookie dough and roll it in your hands until it's smooth. Place them on the baking mat, about 2 inches apart and put them in the oven.
8. After about 10-12 minutes in the oven, take them out, let them cool and enjoy!
