Hello everyone and good day! Have you ever just wondered what the rainbow of colors you see in chat are for? Have you ever wondered what having a different color to your name meant? Well, here you are my friends. In this blog we go over every type of color that people can have and what the job is that is attached to it.

Specifically, today we are going over one very important job.

A librarian is represented by the orange color in WoP, because of this orange hue they tend to be called by the nickname Pumpkins. This job on average is compiled of 6 students from various houses who work together and individually to put out various library books to help the other students and staff of WoP. The librarian team is headed by Mama Pumpkin, Cassiopeia Callas. The librarians write and code all of the lovely books you see in the library that can help you with various things on WoP.

I have contacted some of the pumpkins and I asked them a few questions. There was three things that I asked of them. 1,give me a breif description of the job in your own words; 2, what's your favorite part of being a librarian; and 3, what's your least favorite part of being a librarian. I got quite a few answers so here is some of them.

Karcy McCorrin Well, we write books! We give a request to make the book, and if it's accepted, start writing the rough draft. Once the rough draft is due, we put the finishing touches and then code it into book form. Writing a book for WoP takes 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast you write. My favorite part of the job, honestly, is writing the book. It might take lots of time and effort, but it's worth it in the end to see everybody enjoying your hard work. Well, it's probably not a good thing to say, but I don't work well on deadlines. They make me feel a little stressed out. I get deadlines done, though, so that's a good part.

Nathaniel Casron As a librarian/pumpkin on WoP, we write new books, edit current ones, and make pretty codes for them all, all to make information related to the site or lessons easily accessible to others on site. It's mostly an independent job, although we are definitely there to help each other when we need it! As Kar and Evie explained, there's a process to the book writing. First, we choose a fighterproject. Our mama pumpkin has made a list of ideas that we can choose from, or we can come up with our own ideas. Then we post a small blurb kinda thing about the idea, and our mama pumpkin will approve (and add some suggestions if need be) and give us our deadlines. Then we write/code, and show it to the mama pumpkin for final approval, before uploading it here on WoP. Brave of you to assume the whole job isn't my favorite part Coding. I love writing, but really, it doesn't give me the same thrill as coding the writing into an aesthetically pleasing piece, even if I am using a template. Because of this job I've slowly been able to work my way up to building my own codes, or at least I think I have. I've built one code that I'm proud of because it works on both mobile AND computer perfectly, and I'm planning to try to make a book code that works the same. If I do, it'll be used on one of the existing WoP books that arent coded. Let winky wink! Brave of you to assume I have a least favorite I'm gonna have to go with Kar on this one: deadlines. My sense of time is like *eagle screech* *dying whale noises* *tiger roar* so yah at least I get stuff done I guess???

Evangeline Granger Pumpkin is where you write books for WoP US, in other words, writing books. We basically write the rough draft, then use coding to put it into a real book, we're not telling ya how! We come up with book ideas in the forum part of the club and suggest it. And, our lovely Mama Pumpkin gives us deadlines for the rough draft and real book to be published. Honestly, sharing the books we worked hard on is the real thing I like. And as if there can be a least favorite part of the job, being a pumpkin is simply amazing.
