From the Kitchen

Welcome back to the 5th edition of my flavourful blog, From the Kitchen! Boy oh boy are these food items interesting. I’ll be writing recipes on Canary Creams and Rock Cakes! Yes you read it correctly, this is gonna be one crazy blog!

Canary Creams as you might know are creams that turn you into a canary on the site. It’s something I used to eat instead of daily meals, don’t judge me I like them…

Rock cakes was a fruit cake which was supposed to have a hard outer layer but Hagrid’s rock cake was actually like a rock, he was one amazing cook.. Imagine if he was still the keeper of Hogwarts, I would never visit him for food!

I swear these rock cakes look so tasty, I really wanna eat it now! At this rate I wouldn't mind Hagrid cooking...

Some Fascinating Facts you might not know
Canary Cream is a joke product mostly used for pranking. It was manufactured by Fred and George Weasley and sold at Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes for seven sickles. You can buy them on the site for roughly 76 Galleons! You can buy them from “Diagon Alley>Shadow Street>Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes” You can go to your chest and you can either eat it yourself or send it as a normal/disguised gift to your friend and prank them! Once eaten, your name changes to ‘Canary’ and your FC changes to a yellow bird too for an hour. As you move around the site, you tweet automatically on chat which is hilarious in my opinion.

Rock cakes, aah, something I have been meaning to talk about. Generally, Rock cakes is a type of a fruit cake as I mentioned earlier but Hagrid’s rock cake was no where close to a fruitcake but was close to an actual rock. If you are crazy enough to try his rock cake, think about your lovely teeth... Rock cakes aren’t sold on the site which I’ll take as a good thing actually! But at the same I’d love to try them but of course, I’ll be careful about my teeth.

Question of the day
Would you risk your teeth and eat Hagrid’s rock cake, or would you be on the safe side and politely decline Hagrid who offered you those cakes just like your grandparents offer you food when you visit them?

Would you look at that, we have a bonus question! Would you like to be a canary if I gift you one if you comment on this blog?

When life throws rocks at you, think of them as the rock cakes and eat them! Don’t quote me on this though…

I know I add puns here but I won’t for this one, check out my other blogs if you wanna see those puns because they ‘rock’! I am sorry y’all… Anyways Thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog, I really appreciate it! I hope to see you in the next volume of my blog ‘From the Kitchen’. Feel free to owl me if you have any Harry Potter related dishes you would want me to feature!
