Giggle giggle
Get it? Earth signs? Down-to-earth? Fine I'll stop...
Okay, now that we're done with Zodiac Academy, let's move on to the fun part - Story Time! For today, the four zodiacs will be Pisces, Scorpio, Gemini and Virgo. Please do read the rules at the top...please?
With nothing else to say, let's begin! Oh, and one last thing, it'll be in third person, but only Phoebe's thoughts and feelings will be shown. Also, all the characters will be girls...I dunno how a guy's mind works- Enjoy!
I apologize in advance for the bad plot and overly exaggerated characters...
Story Time!
Phoebe's day was in ruins. And, not the normal type of ruins. The having-to-choose -between-two-friends kind of ruins. See, Phoebe had two best friends. One was a childhood friend, and the other was her dorm-mate. The two absolutely hated each other.
Sorting out small fights was no big thing for her. Her friends were always at each other's necks. But big fights? They were a problem.
"Phoebe," her dorm-mate, June, muttered from the next bed. "I'm not going to apologize. It's Grace's fault she's overly sensitive. She obviously can't take a small jo-"
Phoebe groaned. "Please leave me out of this. Sort your problem yourself." She couldn't see it, but could have sworn that June rolled her eyes under the covers
The next day wasn't any better. This time, Grace ranted about June and how 'humorous' she was. Her tone was dripping with sarcasm.
"How could she call me a quiet person? Everyone calls me that! I'm not quiet!"
"I can see that…" Phoebe said as she bit off a piece of toast.
"And she thinks it's a joke?! Yeah, sure, very funny. I bet she wouldn't like it if I called her-" The Ravenclaw cut off Grace by banging her head onto the table.
"Ask her to apologize." Grace demanded. Phoebe raised up her hands as though accepting defeat. "Fine, I'll ask her."
Needless to say, that didn't go too well. June started throwing around insults in German at top speed. Phoebe didn't want it translated
When it was time for dinner, the third-year nearly collapsed onto her bench after the endless tests provided by professors, and the back and forth squabbling between Grace and June. She was so tired that she didn't notice she was sitting next to the wrong person.
"Uhh, sorry," she said, looking at the girl she'd accidentally sat next to. "I'll just…go…" Then she spotted the two seagulls, as she decided to call them. Annoying, big mouthed, and giving people the urge to shoo them away. They were sitting next to each other, and seemed to be having a deep - furious - conversation.
"Actually, uh, mind if I sit here?" She asked the girl, who nodded. "Go ahead." She said.
There was an awkward silence for a while, then Phoebe asked, "So, uh, what's your name? Do you…like baked potatoes?" She added, catching sight of the only nearby thing - potatoes. She slapped herself inwardly for asking such a stupid question.
"I'm Ava, and you? And, yes, I love baked potatoes! They taste so good with cheese!" The girl exclaimed.
"Phoebe Walters. Yeah, they taste great. I've tried one with pizza fillings!"
"Really? What'd it taste like? I mean, I know it tasted like pizza, but, how was it?"
"Amazing! And, did you know—"
And so they talked. The topic of food kept them both interested, and Ava really opened up to her. She was a great person when you got to know her, and her laugh and smile really were contagious. It didn't feel like they'd met only today.
"There she is!" June exclaimed from behind Phoebe. She turned back, and faced both June and Grace with a smirk. "I see you've both made up and come to seek my blessings. Yes, I bless you both, may you live in pea-"
June waved it off. "Not that. Grace and I have come up with a super cool theory on how magic is produced!" Grace scoffed. "Grace and I? I was the one who came up with the idea!"
"Yeah, and I built up on it," June scoffed.
"I made the foundations. Who even cares what the building's like? It could turn up as a mud house for all that we know. But the foundations help it stay put!"
"What do you mean, no one cares?! Of course everyone cares! The building's impor-"
Oh dear, Phoebe sighed, looking at Ava in a ‘save me’ kind of look.
